Dogs In Line is a 1-2-1 home dog training service based in Hurstpierpoint. Covering surrounding areas in East and West Sussex such as, Brighton, Hayward's Heath, Worthing and Gatwick and further if required.

Initially your dog will need an assessment. The Behaviour Assessment will be in your home for introductions and an opportunity to discuss any issues minor or major you are having with you dog or dogs in a relaxed familiar environment. Sue will recommend a quick walk, so she can get an over all picture of the problems you are experiencing.  At the end of the assessment Sue will discuss with you three of the following options and what would be the right course or plan for you and your dog.

The cost of the assessment is £45 this normally takes an 1 hour

1-2-1 Training options

Pay as you go £60-£70

If your dogs’ behaviour is only slight, Sue may feel that you only need a few lessons or even just the one. This will all be discussed on the assessment.

A customised course/package £210-£260

This is the most popular option. If you dog is displaying a number of issues such as aggression, chasing behaviours, anxiety a customised course will be more suited. This course is flexible, generally consisting 3 to 4 lessons which normally spread over a period of weeks. This gives you time to implement and practise the techniques in-between lessons. Take a peak at Sue's outstanding testimonials

Specialised service:

Rehab & Assessment day. £70

If your dog is display aggression towards other dogs, people or just lacking the correct social skills, Sue may suggestion a "Rehab day"

Dogs are naturally sociable animals, and in the wild will usually form packs. There are all sorts of negative connotations of 'packs of dogs' as dangerous and noisy, but they are in fact relatively calm and social structures. It's healthy for your dog to interact with his own kind and it's important for every dog to have the opportunity to "speak dog" regularly.

This is not always easy on walks and can be very hard for owners to overcome these social problems on their own.

Sue has teamed up with a well-known and experienced behaviourist and is lucky enough to be able use her state of the art day care centre to help build your dogs confidence. This also give Sue a chance to asses you dog behaviour in detail.  Your dog will spend all day with Sue at a specialised centre in West Sussex. Your dog will be introduced carefully and patiently to a range of other dogs with the intention of ending up in the main arena. We take time to build up your dog’s confidence, making sure he/she feels comfortable at all times. Not all dogs possess good social skills but all dogs do have the ability to learn how to socialise and interact appropriately. If Sue feels you and your dog will benefit from this option it will be discussed on the behavioural assessment.
